Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before registering or using SoWeLove. By accessing or using our platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have read and understood these terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

SoWeLove ("we", "our", or "the platform") may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

I. Account Registration

  1. To use this service, you must register a SoWeLove account using a valid email address that you own and that has not been banned under this Agreement.
  2. SoWeLove is a location-aware social platform. When registering, users may be asked to share their geographic location to improve match quality.
  3. Your account name, avatar, profile, and other registration information must not violate applicable laws or infringe upon the rights of others. You must not impersonate any person or entity, or maliciously register multiple accounts.
  4. During registration and use, SoWeLove may collect personal information necessary to provide the service, including but not limited to email address, date of birth, gender, location, and profile information. Such collection is governed by our Privacy Policy.

II. Account Management

  1. Your SoWeLove account is licensed to you for personal use only. You may not transfer, sell, or share your account with others. If we have reason to believe you are not the original registrant, we may suspend or terminate the account.
  2. You may review and update your personal information at any time through the profile settings page.
  3. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Any activity under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
  4. Account data is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to remove inactive or policy-violating content to maintain platform integrity.
  5. You may cancel your account at any time through the settings page. Account cancellation is irreversible. Please ensure all pending matters are resolved before cancelling. SoWeLove will delete your personal data as required by applicable law, except where retention is legally required.

III. Service Content

  1. SoWeLove provides a platform for adults (18+) to connect, message, share posts, and interact. We may update, modify, or discontinue features over time with reasonable notice.
  2. SoWeLove grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the platform and its services. All rights not expressly granted remain with SoWeLove.
  3. Our services include both free and paid features. Paid services are offered through the in-app credits system. All fees are displayed clearly before purchase. Completed payments are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

IV. User Personal Information Protection

  1. We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including information you provide directly, information shared by third parties, and data collected automatically during your use of the service.
  2. SoWeLove implements technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
  3. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties except: (a) as required by law or legal process; (b) with your consent; (c) to our trusted service providers operating under strict confidentiality agreements; or (d) in cases of force majeure beyond our reasonable control.
  4. SoWeLove prohibits users under 18 years of age from registering or using the platform.

V. Content Standards

  1. You must not post content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise objectionable.
  2. You must not post content that infringes any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
  3. You must not spread misinformation, impersonate others, or engage in deceptive practices.
  4. SoWeLove reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards without prior notice.

VI. Usage Rules

  1. You must not use SoWeLove to conduct any illegal or unauthorized activity.
  2. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform's technical systems.
  3. You must not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the platform without our express written permission.
  4. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and any consequences thereof. If your content causes damage to SoWeLove or any third party, you agree to indemnify and compensate accordingly.

VII. Credits and Payments

  1. SoWeLove issues virtual credits ("Credits") that can be used to purchase premium features, gifts, and membership services within the platform.
  2. Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except as required by applicable law. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real currency.
  3. If you voluntarily cancel your account, any unused Credits will be forfeited. SoWeLove will not refund the cash equivalent of unused Credits.
  4. SoWeLove reserves the right to modify pricing, credit exchange rates, and available paid features at any time, with notice provided through the platform.

VIII. Intellectual Property

  1. All content, features, and functionality of the SoWeLove platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by SoWeLove and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  2. Content you create and publish on SoWeLove remains yours. However, by posting content, you grant SoWeLove a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the platform and its promotional materials.
  3. You must not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from SoWeLove's proprietary content without prior written permission.

IX. Risk Assumption

  1. SoWeLove is a platform that facilitates user connections. We do not verify the identity of users beyond the information provided during registration, and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information.
  2. You use the platform at your own risk. SoWeLove is not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.
  3. If you discover content or behavior that violates this Agreement, please report it to us and we will take appropriate action.

X. Legal Responsibility

  1. If you violate this Agreement, SoWeLove may issue warnings, restrict or suspend your account, delete content, or permanently ban your account, depending on the severity of the violation.
  2. You agree to indemnify SoWeLove against any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your violation of this Agreement or applicable law.
  3. SoWeLove respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your rights have been infringed, please contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action.

XI. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  1. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SoWeLove does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  2. SoWeLove is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
  3. In no event shall SoWeLove's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past twelve months.
  4. SoWeLove is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, network failures, or cyberattacks.

XII. Termination of Service

  1. SoWeLove reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
  2. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, if you violate this Agreement or applicable law.
  3. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

XIII. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  1. This Agreement is governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to this Agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
  2. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the court of competent jurisdiction.
  3. If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
